Primary Care Practice Assistance
I came to the Orewa Medical Centre in 2011 as a receptionist.
After a year I was offered a position in a pilot programme of study to train as a clinical assistant known as a Primary Care Practice Assistant. I am now enjoying my diverse role covering reception/admin duties as well as hands on clinical tasks assisting the nursing and GP teams.
