DR ISABEL IS CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE, RETURNING FEBRUARY 2025
I moved to Orewa in 2023 from Barcelona (Spain) where I worked as a Family Doctor for 6 years. However, I am originally from the Canaries, an archipelago of volcanic islands located west of Morocco.
I’ve always been very interested in the strong connection between community and individual health and that’s why ever since I began my career I’ve been involved in different volunteer programmes aimed usually at groups at risk of social exclusion.
I chose to become a GP because I wanted to centre my practice around people and I felt that because of how versatile this role is, it would allow me to accompany my patients in the best possible way.
My husband (who is a psychologist) and I have always been big adventurers and we are delighted to have the chance to become part of your community. We are very sociable, we love travelling, nature, being physically active and trying new cuisines.
