MBChB, PGDip in Clinical Dermatology (Distinction)

I graduated from The University of Auckland in 2020 and completed my post-graduate years at Whanganui Hospital to gain general registration. After that, I worked there as a general surgical registrar in 2023 before taking time off to travel around Asia and complete a post-graduate diploma in Clinical Dermatology to further my interest in diagnosis and treatment of common skin diseases and skin cancers as well as minor skin surgeries.

I am looking forward to being a part of Orewa Medical Centre from January 2025 as a GP Registrar. I believe that GPs are pivotal in improving health outcomes and alleviating the health disparities through prevention, early diagnosis of diseases, health education and forming partnerships with patients and their whānau. I am excited to work alongside and learn from the team at Orewa Medical Centre as well as develop evidence-based medicine skills for diagnosis and treatment of varieties of conditions in diverse groups of populations. I am keen to explore all aspects that GP life has to offer, serve the under-resourced and make a positive change in the health system.

Outside of work, you may find me at a tennis club on a sunny day or at a specialty coffee shop around Auckland. At home, I also enjoy jamming on my acoustic guitar. Alongside GP training, I am also taking further education in dermatoscopy to improve my ability to diagnose/ rule out skin cancers.
