Msc (Biochem); MBCHB (Auckland), Diploma Obstetrics and Gynaecology, FRNZCGP
I graduated as a doctor in 1986 (Auckland) and have worked in general practice and Family Planning Clinics in Auckland. I completed a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology 25 years ago and I have completed the surgical skills training course. My latest role is that of clinical director of Orewa Medical Centre, a position I have held for 20 years. I have been an examiner for the NZRCGP. My special interests are: women’s health, geriatric care, minor surgery and travel medicals.
I enjoy my 3 children, living by the beach and walking my 2 dogs. Mostly however, I have remained very much a general practitioner. I enjoy being able to get to know people over time and wherever possible am interested in progressing and maintaining good health.
