MBCHB (Auckland); Diploma Obsetrics and Gynaecology (Auckland). MRNZCGP
I graduated in 2009 from Auckland University and worked at Nelson Hospital for 4 years, gaining experience in surgical specialties, emergency medicine and a post graduate diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before entering GP and Rural Hospital medicine training In Nelson. More recently I spent 18 months working as an Intensive Care and Helicopter Retrieval doctor in Whangarei, as part of a Rural Hospital Medicine fellowship. Now in Orewa, I am enjoying the different pace of general practice, working with families and the variety of people I get to meet in community medicine. I can provide a full range of services including minor surgery & treatment of facial lesions, women’s health including gynecological procedures, family planning & pregnancy care, and have interests in travel medicine and rural health.
Outside of work I am involved in a variety of outdoor sports and I am a volunteer with Search and Rescue as well as teaching in Wilderness Medicine.
